I'm going to celebrate finally being registered at uni and having my network login by doing this meme. I can't promise speedy responses because there are far too many Muggles wandering around campus to get much time to chat with wizards and witches, but we will get back to you at some point. ;)

Remus, what was going through your head after you told Tonks you loved her, then Disapperated? Did you think you would come back to Grimmauld Place and hear mutual feelings declared? And after you got after being gobsmacked, how did you get Tonks out of the pantry? I take it you probably didn't eat those Beanz?

I'd been wanting to tell her for so long, and the right opportunity had, to that point, been rather elusive. Going away on that assignment -- it was the first of my information gathering missions to the other werewolves -- I just felt that if anything happened... I couldn't bear it if she'd never known.

I hoped, and hoped... and hoped that I'd return to hear her return my words, even though I was fully aware she might box my ears for leaving her like that, but I couldn't be sure.

I am, Mrs Tater, quite shocked at your suggestion that I'd let perfectly good beans go to waste, of course, I greeted Tonks properly when she returned from the pantry, and promptly sat her down to eat. Beans are very good for energy levels, you know...

So Remus, what exactly are these tales you were afraid Sirius would embellish upon or exaggerate for Tonks and that you avoided telling her yourself?
