I can hear them all the time

Sorry to go on about the mouse issue, but then again this is my journal and one of it's main functions is the relief of frustrations!
So around 2pm, I finally had drunk enough coffee to tackle the stricken rodents. With virtual moral support coming across the wire from Best Mate in Oz, I put a carrier inside a carrier, grasped a piece of kitchen towel and gingerly transferred both mouse and trap into the bags. It was not pleasant, as I'm sure any one reading this will understand, particularly as the bigger of the two had it's tail slightly stuck to the floor!
Actually, I'm trying to make light of a situation that has upset me quite a bit, I'm a stickler for things being clean (in my first week at university I phoned my Mum in tears because other people in the house didn't do the washing up properly and all the crockery and cutlery was always put away dirty!) and the whole place just feels so dirty knowing that they are about. It's not really a squeemish thing or a skittish thing, I'm not afraid of the mice...just the dirt that comes with them.
I can hear them walking along the pipe behind the radiator, I just hope that the poison I put down this evening works soon. I like living on my own Damnit!!!
