That's really love to hear. I've never really written anything where the getting together was drawn out with barriers to it happening, but I've always wanted to. Reading it myself, I had wondered if I'd missed the mark, but as I said to patriot_jackie, I think it's very difficult to see it in your own work, so it takes a kindly reviewer to say that it was goal achieved!
I think for Remus and Tonks to be equals in a successful relationship, Tonks has to realise that it won't be all roses and the easiest life she might choose, and Remus has to realise that if she understands that and is willing to go for it all the same, then it's really not so bad, lol. So when Remus was being a stubborn git, I think it needed Tonks to come out an acknowledge the issues so that they could start to move forward, even just in friendship.
Anyway, I'm so pleased you though it all worked, and enjoyed the love scene, which didn't quite come out as I'd intended, which is always a little unsettling. Thank you so much, again, for such a lovely review! :D
