My Mum is so great. She sat me down for half an hour today and we went through my fiances with a fine tooth comb. We came up with a daily spend budget and I'll have money left over if I'm strict which I intend to be. And she became even more goddess-like when she said that because my ex is arriving tomorrow I'd want to have a little fun and gave me and extra £100 to spend next week. I really don't like taking money from her because she (and Dad) are so generous that I could ask them every week and they'd never say no and I don't like feel like I am exploiting that. But she insisted and so we are going to the bank in the morning on my way to the coach back home.
