(no subject)

Afternoon.

The last Nymphadora of the Week story has been posted! It's a lovely read, and you all really should be reading that rather than my update, but if you could just answer the poll first, I'd be ever so grateful. It's called Chocolate Covered Tonks (doesn't that title just make you want to go off and read it?), written by [livejournal.com profile] bratty_jedi and can be found here

[livejournal.com profile] mrstater has a candidate for an entry to another NoW competition. If anyone else does something rather Nymphadora-esque this week, let me know, and we'll have another poll. I've not done anything particularly stupid this week, but it's only Monday so there is always time;)

Does anyone else think it's just a little bit funny (as well as intensely annoying) that The-Site-That-Must-Not-Be-Named diverts you to an advert for a spam blocker for ten seconds before redirecting you to the stats page? Reminds me of that email I got offering to sell me 5000 email addresses (CRM isn't that company's forte).

This is terribly cute.

Quick random poll.

[Poll #813813]

I would totally be unlikely to remember my password if it required a capital letter or punctuation.

That's the kind of passwork I have at work :S

I answered "be annoyed but put up with it" but that's not the whole story - I'd probably make up a new password, forget it, and the next time I had to log in, I'd just sign up for another account and if it didn't let me I'd give up in disgust snd not use it again. If there was a "forget your password, have it emailed to you option" that required anything more than my email such as, say, a "secret question", my birthdate, zipcode or whatever, I wouldn't be able to use it because I always make up random information for that.

But then again, I always make up random information for any personal data that I put into a website anyway...
